Wheel Light Install
WHEEL LIGHT INSTALLATION GUIDE
STEP #1: Installing The Bluetooth Control Module
- Keep the module tucked up on the inner side of the frame, below the cab, and away from engine heat. This will give the module a central location and reduce the need to extend the 11-foot wire leads. You may keep it in the engine bay as long as it Is distanced from anything warm.
- The module can alternatively be mounted to the battery or nearby without modification, in this instance, extensions will be needed!
- You may use zip ties / double sided tape to secure the control box to the desired location. ***We recommend wiring the control module to a switch to avoid the constant flow of power through the module, please be aware of power flow and amperage, you cannot use a 10amp switch with an 60amp 10 row module***
STEP #2: Installing The Wheel Lights
- Safely jack up your vehicle and remove your tire.
- For single sided wheel lights - Remove 2-3 brackets from the wheel ring using a Phillips screwdriver then slip the ring over your brake assembly and put the brackets back on (only 3 brackets are REQUIRED)
- For double sided wheel lights - remove the unneeded brackets by cutting, and bend some of the needed brackets out of the way to slip the light over the brakes.
- Use angle drill bit to drill holes without having to remove brakes.
- Ensure the wire lead coming off the wheel light ring is close to a brake line or tie down location so it can be routed along a safe location and kept away from the wheel.
- Pre-Drill correctly spaced holes that align with the wheel light brackets in your dust shield for the mounting screws.
- Secure each bracket using steel rivets or bolts & lock nuts.
STEP #3: Securing The Wire leads
- Run the wire leads along the factory brake lines and or existing vehicle wiring harness keeping them tucked away and as high as possible. Using zip ties, secure the wires tightly so they cannot be easily pulled out of place.
- Plug the wire lead into the corresponding Control Module hookup. Make sure to align the small arrows on both the female and male ends.
STEP #4: Bluetooth Remote/App
- We highly recommended connecting the app first via bluetooth (LEDSHOW).
- Download the app from your app store and make sure your phone's bluetooth is on without any paired devices.
- Make sure your control module is efficiently supplied with a 12v power source and the fuse is in proper condition.
- Your device will automatically pair to the module, and then you can control everything.
